Consistency rule

No single trading day can make up more than 35% of your total profit. The rule applies in the evaluation and in the funded stage.

In the funded stage it resets with every approved payout and only counts the profit you make in the new payout cycle.

Example: on a $25K evaluation, reaching the $2,000 profit target means no single day can contribute more than $700.

Maximum drawdown

Your maximum drawdown is 3.5%, trailing on an end-of-day basis. It sets the floor your account must stay above.

Where your floor starts

Account sizeStarting floor
$25K$24,125
$50K$48,250
$100K$96,500

How it trails

The floor is checked at the end of each trading day. When your account closes a day at a new high, the floor moves up with it. The floor never moves down.

When it locks

Once the floor reaches your starting balance, it stops trailing and stays at your starting balance.

Requesting a payout also locks the floor at your starting balance, permanently. After your first payout request, if your account equity reaches or falls below your starting balance, the account is breached.

Keep a buffer. Once the floor is at your starting balance, withdrawing all of your profit leaves nothing above the floor, and the account is closed. Request a partial payout to keep some profit in the account.

Position and share limits

Open positions

You can hold up to 30 open positions at once across your account.

The limit counts each distinct market and side you hold, and it is the same for every account size. It applies to both evaluation and funded accounts.

Once you have 30 open positions, close one before you open a new one.

Max shares per event

Account sizeMax shares per event
$25K1,250
$50K2,500
$100K4,000

The limit counts every share you hold on the same event, YES and NO together.

Risk per event limit

You can trade events priced at or below 0.85. Markets priced above 0.85 are not eligible.

The limit is checked when you open a position. If the price rises above 0.85 after you buy, you can keep the position.

What happens if I fail my evaluation?

Your evaluation fails if you:

  • go below your maximum drawdown floor,
  • lose more than 2% of your balance at the start of the day in one trading day, or
  • run out of time before reaching the profit target (120 days).

A failed evaluation can't be restarted and its fee isn't refunded. To try again, buy a new evaluation.

Is there an inactivity rule?

Funded accounts must stay active. Place at least one trade in any rolling 15-day period. If 15 calendar days pass without a trade, your funded account can be deactivated.

The rule only applies to funded accounts. There's no inactivity rule during the evaluation, though the 120-day time limit still applies.

Going on a break

If you'll be away, message support before your break starts. As long as you've told us in advance, your funded account won't be deactivated for inactivity while you're away.

Prohibited trading practices

Accounts are for disciplined, risk-managed trading. Any of the practices below can lead to a failed evaluation, a closed funded account and lost payouts.

Market manipulation and information abuse

Getting around the limits

Account abuse

Risky trading

Automated trading

Bots, scripts and any tool that places, manages or changes trades without your manual input are not allowed. We monitor for signs of automation such as inhuman reaction times, highly regular trade timing and identical repeated orders.

Trading alerts and signal services are fine, as long as you place every trade yourself. A service that executes trades for you counts as a bot.

Daily drawdown

Your daily drawdown is 2% of your balance at the start of the trading day. If you lose more than that in one day, the account is breached.

When the day resets

The trading day resets at 5:00 PM ET (New York time). Your limit for the next day is then set from your balance at that point.

Example

You start the day with $25,000, so you can lose up to $500 that day. If you end the day at $25,600, your limit for the next day is $512.

Trading days and qualifying profit days

Is there a minimum number of trading days?

Not in the evaluation. You pass as soon as you hit the 8% profit target within the drawdown, daily drawdown and consistency rules.

What counts as a trading day

A trading day counts when at least one of your orders fills during that New York calendar day.

Qualifying profit days in the funded stage

Before each payout, you need 3 qualifying profit days in that payout cycle. A qualifying profit day is a day where your realized profit is at least 0.5% of your starting balance.

Account sizeProfit needed for a qualifying day
$25K$125
$50K$250
$100K$500
